This story is like a roller coaster ride and I hate roller coaster rides.
Whoever wrote this is a master of giving mix signals. I had to skip a few chapters because it gives me anxiety. Yes, I do get anxiety when a story has a lot of angst and my heart can’t handle it. Initially, I thought things are moving forward for Naru Shin and Sungjoon, but they both ends up dating a girl. I don’t mind that Naru Shin is bisexual. What drives me crazy is that he’s sooo dense. Towards Ch. 60+, he realizes that he wants Sungjoon by his side and I thought that he’s going to wake up. BUT then, he went and date Somi. Do you know how frustrating this is?
This is a great story and it gives the reader a real feel of what it’s like to have trauma. What traumatizes a person doesn’t go away easily and I understand that perfectly. That’s one of the things I like about this story. It doesn’t brush a character’s pain under the rug. Naru Shin is learning to not run away from his trauma, process it and accept it.
I also like the fact that Sungjoon is not perfect. He has flaws. He jeopardizes Naru Shin’s chance of getting a girlfriend and dating a girl that looks similar to Naru Shin. It’s despicable, but we learn that it’s his only way of having some sort of control because he couldn’t confess to Naru Shin his true feelings.
I read through other comments and learn that Naru Shin and Sungjoon will find their way to each other in the end. And that’s great.
However, I will be dropping this story. This story doesn’t lack anything, but my poor little heart can’t handle any more anxiety. Maybe I'll come back once Mangago update all the chapters.
