I guess it's shoujo's way or the author that make him compare couple love to family love. We all know it's not the same and how Kaede explained to his sister is way cliché, like the gf is his sis's love rival or something like that.
Why the heck is he putting yusa under aoi?! Shes a brat... even the mum is anoyed of her daughter, i raged so hard and cried when he said to aoi "i love you the most but i got someone whos also precious"
Family love isnt the same as couple love and is in my opinion more important, if he always gonna say he loves his sister more she never gonna be able to live alone and i would dumb him cuz hearing that... it hurts
