no hate, but u can block me if u want. just wanted to share my opinion. tbh i dont think the lead couple are typical cookie cutters. just looking at their expressions really get me lol. especially when the male lead was like “oh so this is advice from a forever alone” and when the fl said fk instead of crying lmaoo i love all the characters here sm except that bitch edith ofc

yea, but i also dont think hes cookie cutter at all. usually from these reincarnation stories the male lead is mean to the female lead in the beginning and ends up falling for her bc shes different. but he just had a one night stand with her and is taking responsibility for it. honestly i think they are fit for each other. i would explain it better but im not good at saying stuff. and thank you! i hope u have a nice day too. its very cold where i am though

I didn't really change my mind. It's called being "respectful," of other people's opinions. Also, of COURSE I'M SCARED. Do u know how scary and snarky and JUDGING people can get in the comments just because you don't share the same opinion as them? Ugh, when i think of all those times in the past where i got caught up in debates and hate comments, it makes me shudder ┗( T﹏T )┛

Okay, I'll see if I can "change your mind", lol.
I totally get you as for the stalkerish part, but the reason I don't exactly dislike it is because this story at least suggests he also has a "good excuse", or at least to me it looked like he does: the need to find out whether she's a spy or not... And once that one excuse gets old, he goes and actually tries to make up another one (the other excuse he fed her in the forest, where he said he just needs her as his "fake date" in order to gain access to the palace and look for some hypothetical, valuable something...). We can all guess he probably fed her a lot of crap with that, right then, just so that he could have an excuse and persuade her to let him continue seeing her, but at least he didn't resort to the usual bullshit logic (of "I fell for you so now you have no choice but to be mine, just because I say so...") that we see in other possessive mls... He's just vying for time to get the chance win her over, and even if I don't like the fact that he's lying to her in order to gain that time, at least it's with a pretty harmless lie ("There's something I need to look for thorougly inside the palace"... Like, really? Mc, you actually BELIEVED that bull?!?) and the fact that he does something that hints that he actually wants to win her over, instead of forcing her to do anything, is a plus in comparison, at least in my book.
Just in case, if you think the "she might be a spy" excuse is not a good one, here's why I think it is, though:
This guy Ares is just back from a *war*, ...and he's a high commander. Protecting army secrets and national security is a default for him, enough to make it a necessity for him to act least "look", in front of his army subordinates, like he's "appropriately cautious" (*cough* more like "appropriately paranoid" *cough*) and this also serves to give him a legit "excuse" to them as for why he's suddenly chasing after a girl that "stood him up /dumped him", without having to "lose face" by admiting it to them that he actually likes the woman (and yeah, they all clearly know, already, that that's the real reason... but probably go along with his "excuse" because, well, they respect his need to uphold his manly pride, as fellow males who also have their own manly pride to protect, and on top of that he's their superior and they'd want to "get along" with him) . So... even if we readers already know that the "spy" excuse isn't the real reason why he's chasing her, how can he *not* at least try to look as if he's trying to chase her, in front of his subordinates? ...They all saw or heard of Ares and Lancelot, two top dogs of the winning army, suddenly being tracked down by this virgin girl in aristocratic clothes, who comes and wastes her virginity on a causal encounter (in an era were noble women were NOT allowed to do that) and all this only for the girl to suddenly disappear without a trace right after, and reappear again later with *another* soldier from their army, and even *threatening* him... So, to Ares' subornidates, who have not interacted much with this girl, how could this not doesn't make her sound like a spy trying to get information, or like a spy trying to cover her tracks? And with their impression being like that, if Ares did NOT chase after her, after all of them seeing or hearing of all that odd and suspicious behavior, they may start wonder why their usually reliable commander is not attempting to investigate this further.

I KNOW RIGHT??? I FYCKING HATE THAT ヽ(`Д´)ノ
LIKE WHY?! WHY CAN'T THERE BE ONE FRICKING ASS STORY WHERE THE MAIN CHARACTER DOESN'T ALWAYS FALL FOR THE MALE LEAD'S CREEPY ASS PURSUING CHARMS?!
AND NO, I'M NOT SAYING THAT ARES IS CREEPY, BUT I JUST HATE THAT HE'S PURSUING HER EVEN THO SHE CLEARLY DOESN'T WANT HIM TO
*takes in a deep breath*
I'm sorry for scream capping u, but i get really frustrated and riled up whenever i talk about this shit
I don't like the ML. I think he's a typical cookie cutter possessive male lead who shud go trash himself in a garbage bin. Even tho u guys are probably used to these types of MLs, i still don't like Ares and I'd prefer someone else.
CHANGE MY MIND
no hate comments tho cause I'll just block u in the end
