I’m sorry if this seems harsh or out of line for some, but I’m sure most of us do understand that this site and others like it aren’t just “not official”, they are in fact illegal hosting sites. So, to complain about the Author being upset HER work is being used WITHOUT her permission and to try and justify what we’re doing here saying “the author should be happy just to be doing what she loves” as if this wasn’t her bread and butter and her source of income is just plain ridiculous!
Grow up, at the end of the day we’re all gonna have bills to pay and NOT one of us would be “understanding” if someone out there was cutting into our hard earned pay with utter disregard, since nobody bothered to notify us.
This isn’t the first time something like this happens, that is why people on this site and translation groups have to keep posting - don’t go commenting on the authors social media.
Please DO NOT pretend like we’re doing something pure and justifiable, I’m sure many like me are poor arse students without a penny to our name, we appreciate and worship translation groups that share mangas that we would never in a million years would have been able to read, we fall in love with the work of authors and mangakas that we wouldn’t have ever heard of without said translation groups, BUT in the same breath we would never, NOT in a million years pretend like any of them owe us anything, they can decide to stop sharing their translations and even stop writing these stories any minute of any day and not one person using this site has a say in those decisions. So, please save your stupid arse entitled opinions to yourself and save yourself the humiliation.
