Could we please not start with that excuse again? You can't complain about a company not paying their authors enough and then use this as an excuse to not pay the author at all. It makes you worse than them.

How many authors do you pay $10 for? Do you pay $10 just to support them is it something you do because the $10 bracket gives you access to certain material you wouldn't get otherwise?
It's an excuse because you use it to not pay the author. And it's hypocritical because you don't pay the author at all. You complain about Lzhin for not paying them enough, hence why you don't pay them at all. That makes you worse them then because you don't pay them at all.
Just because you pay other authors doesn't make it any better.

They left because of the controversy surrounding other authors not because they don't get paid. Webtoon authors almost never get payed a lot, doesn't matter the platform. And even the King's Maker author still has a contract with Lzhin otherwise the series would've been taken down by now.

Let's team up and create a Netflix like platform for comics. A subscription is more affordable
It doesn't matter that season 2 is on Tappy Toon. Season 1 isn't and they could've taken it down by now if they wanted to.
The vast majority of authors relaying on Patreon make at best a little bit of pocket money on there. Even popular authors on webtoons (who aren't featured) need additional support from the company because they can't earn a living with it.
Almost all of the authors who do earn enough are 18+ authors who have to give out extra illustrations, special access etc. to convince people to pay for their work.
The Patreon solution works for some but it's by no means a solution for everyone.

I was done talking about what you wrote. It was a quick thought. I want to keep as many people from doing that to authors on tapas as possible.
I think you missed my point, i can pay, thats why i said i have no issue to support them on patreon (and yes, patreon take some money off it, but not as much as Lezhin does). I just dont agree with the amound of money they give to author from what i pay. And yes, i dont pay the author at all and thats what bothers me, i wish there would be other way to do so.
Before someone tries to say they dont take more, they most certainly do lol. That's the most I'm going to talk about it, I wont share anymore. But patreon does pay more

No, you don't get what I mean. I've never said you can't pay. I said, when you don't pay the authors at all because you think Lzhin doesn't pay enough then you are worse than them because you don't pay at all. It's like saying "This train ride is not CO2 neutral that's why I travel by plane".
And Patreon is not a publisher. They're basically just Paypal with more features. Obviously they don't take as much money as a publisher because all they do is offer a platform and nothing else.
