Their job is literally this, they get paid to do draw/write this. Idk why you'd ask such an obvious question. No matter how shitty the pay(and pay is bad as a mangaka unless you're super popular), still a job. Though if author has another job, It's none of your business

Yes, because that is what sells in Japan and unfortunately for you, the main demographic are from Japan. Though, one way to change things is to support authors you like...By buying their shit. Make it known that "unproblematic" stories are popular by making it monetarily popular. So complaining here won't change things.
