Yeah because wasting your money competing with a creepy old man, while showing your brother's girlfriend who is a gold digger that your brother "has" money is totally "helping" the brother. If she wanted to help or cared about her brother she would advise the brother to break up with the girlfriend who is no good, and get with someone who is better for him, not try to keep the girlfriend around, but if didn't see that for himself then that's his problem.
