What I love about this author is that the stories don’t necessarily have to be a happy ending. The author chooses the ending that best suits the story direction. I get bored of stories that are obviously going to have a good ending just because that’s the status quo even though the characters don’t end up facing consequences for their actions. And really, a well thought out, diverted ending is wayyy more satisfying than a supposed ‘satisfying’ conclusion.
I agree! It feels like majority of comics have a happy ending, but life isn't like that. So I like that even though this is a supernatural BL it's more realistic than a lot I've read (because heartbreak, manipulation, and grief happen everyday).
