The moment the author to the web novel deviated from the novel, it was so obvious the story quality PLUMMETED. Which is why I always fucking hate it when spin offs deviate from the original, cuz the authors writing them are incapable of writing good stories. To begin with, this story was only good because spoon followed the novel plot(close but not too close) but the moment she deviated hard made shit worse.

Like--i hope it's not just us international fans upset about this. If the Korean fans are eating these all up without complaint....it would mean spoon will be encouraged to continue this shit..

Also just because I said what I said doesn't mean you guys should contact either author to complain. Do it when you're actually legally reading the work.

This makes me ask where this is going
    Spoiler maybe

Okay so i read that in the incoming chapters lucas comes back with the branch and he cures Claude's amnesia and along with this life's memories he could recall his previous life (the one where Athy dies); Anastasius is really dead and the one using his body is that person that acctually realated to Lucas and he actually tests Athy to see what's the big deal with her and why Lucas is so attached to her

I wonder how much of this is true?

    yaoifreak February 11, 2020 7:36 pm

Wtf?why did author do it?i mean, the novel's plot was great

Issat from the manhwa raw? Idk but what you read aligned with the novel i read but the ‘he could recall his previous life’ aint in my dictionary and i think Anastasius is actually Aterenitas the great emperor that mentioned in the early chaps and he didn’t die and yeah he super mad obsessed with Lucas that he played with Athy’s life cuz Lucas like her. If these are what you read from the raw it means that the manhwa will align back to the correct path but if you read it from novel, well sadly, these scenes will never see the light in the manhwa ㅠㅠ

Well--people have been saying Lucas will come soon for a while back now but he has yet to even make a return. Also---last part is true for the novel but here in the webtoon, anastasius is actually the real anastasius. Because apparently, Spoon wanted to add father daughter moments. Whatever that meant.

Damn, maybe so they could be family and not bother Claude and Athy. Spoon be changing the story into their own ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I actually think this might be a good idea cause y'know how movies are based off books and the move alters it a little bit? she's making the story more interesting and more juicy. there's more drama and it's good.

Eh, the drama is just making people pissed off, can't you see? A whole lot of people are hating on Jennette and are dropping and picking it back up when Lucas returns.

Also, the alteration isn't just "a bit". It's a whole lot. The moment they have changed a lot of the story, Spoon will have to work hard to match their story telling to the same quality of the novel author. In the first place, this did happen in the novel, athy having to run away. What did not happen was this shit being extended. In the end, we could still get our drama without having to throw in Jennette as a fucking plot device. That's what she is, a plot device, flat as hell character with no sign of character development.
