I dont mean any hate, but just wondering. Why is the update between chapters so long?

It all depends on the scanlation group I guess. We tend to forget that it takes time to actually upload these chapters.
    1. Scanlation groups are mostly volunteers; people who have school or are working. I mean, they have priorities and since everything they do is FREE, it's gotta take some time. [Manpower]
    2. They need Raws. And they most likely need to buy it somewhere which then goes to the issue if they have money to actually buy it. Also, since this is not a webtoon or the manga isn't being sold online (like RENTA), then they'll have to buy it in a store which then becomes even harder.
    3. They have to properly scan, translate, and edit EACH and EVERY page. They'll most likely destroy the manga for them to actually scan it flat on the scanner.
    4. Somehow it all depend on the author and fanbase. Author- depends on how fast they can produce the chapter. Fans- how they support the scanlation grp

Ahh thank you for the reply, I suspected something similar and i guess this counts for all manga updates here. But I was more specifically interested in this manga, like if it's because it's a monthly update and so it takes some time to get, clean and translate or something.

This one is ongoing in Japan. Can’t translate something that doesn’t exist.

    Hey there,

    Addis if ExR here.

Kachou is not a monthly released manga in its original magazine Dear+ in Japan. Sensei tends to only release one chapter every other month. So we already have to wait for the raw to come out then we have to buy it, scan, clean, translate, typeset, proof, and release the chapter. This is on top of all of the other manga we do as well as novels. Our translators also work and study, so sometimes, when we get the raw to the time it is released, takes two to three weeks since we like to finish the projects that have tanks (full volumes) we are working on before we release chapters of ongoing series.
