The reason why the author drew the ending like that is to leave it to what the reader thinks.
The open ending is so not suitable for this work...
But even if Bum survives I don't think that kind of living can be called bring alive. Bum can't even speak of how he felt for sangwoo who is considered a monster in the eyes of the world...The only happy moments in life for Bum was when sangwoo treated him kindly. After sangwoo's death, Bum is back to his empty life.
Someone please explain the ending.... has bum died? Their promise ,which sangwoo said " kill yourself if I die", was fulfilled? Please explain
