Bum realized sangwoo is not the monster everyone thinks he is...Bum's only happy moments in life was when sangwoo treated him kindly, but unfortunately he couldn't help sangwoo cause he was damaged himself.

No I think you’re wrong. I do have sympathy for sangwoo but he was far past the point of deserving redemption. I do pity him but he indeed became a monster because of his trauma. Sangwoo was indeed a monster who deserved a most painful death. But that’s what also makes me feel so sad for these characters. It’s the way everyone around them failed them and in the end became what they were. It’s true they could’ve possibly had happy normal lives. That’s what was so painful about it.
