That’s because she has spent more time with him. Yes,he did horrible shit in front of her, made her a slave and even threatened to get her killed (because his favorite horse was going to get killed if she didn’t save him and find the cause of his behavior). But, as time went on she realized that he was not that much of a jerk and started to see more good points about him.
