Well judging from those extra and the fact that it happens years later I say we can hope, they have matching scarfs and seem close. While red head and Uncle Pan seems to have come together and are at ease around eachother.

So the whole "Bad ending for someone" might be Djun trolling once again. Because the 4 couples seem more than fine 7 years into the future.
