On one hand I try to understand her - you are in an unknown place where laws are very unlike your own world - killing people is a completely normal thing etc. so the logical choice would be to try to get back (even though her life so far also seemed shitty so I think modern civilisation is the only thing that she wants back which is understandable) but... BUT omfg if you don't trust those around you, then don't fucking trust anyone, especially not random guys who are from god knows where and their motives are too unclear.
However, she is pretty calm in non-life threatening situations (which is great), but then panics in another non-life threatening situations so she gets into a life-threatening situation... and then goes back to the place where she almost died. I thought she tried to go back, but no. It was for a goddamn battery - if anything happened to her, everybody from her palace would have been killed. If it's just to retreive something then she should have told sb to go with her - especially since it's a place where she almost died before. It not for others then at least be selfish enough to keep yourself safe.
Also - she figured out that it is a truly ancient kingdom so it should be clear that a) if you dont kill, you get killed (she needs to understand asap that you can't judge a period by your own standards especially when you are now in said period); and b) if she were to escape and come across bandits, she might have to live through hell on earth and even worse. If the emperor wasn't so damn nice to her and behaved like an actual tyrant so that her dislike and fears had a solid basis there wouldn't have been such a contrast between them that makes me so frustratred with her actions. ╥﹏╥
My God, I know it's easy to judge and how on Earth should a person act in that situation but BUT! It's fiction! I demand the heroine to make more logical (or at least safer) choices!! ( ̄へ ̄)
