Some day I was bored and wanted to see hot guys sooo I clicked on this manga, read the newest chapter and... Idk what happened but the male lead left her alone with her insecurity and she was feeling bad asf. And then suddenly that new guy appeared and helped her. So don't take my comment so seriously because I don't read this manga properly. I was just flipping through the manga haha

No. No. I’m not taking it seriously either. XD Just saying, you know. XD I honestly didn’t even read the whole thing. Just scans and skips there just to get the general gist. XD I’m just trying to be that random person who desperately tries no to judge a character before knowing the full story. XD
Although, I’m also that person who dropped Abandoned Empress like a hot potato because I had expectations and was hit with cliche reality instead. XD I wanted to see how the ML redeem himself not only to the FL but also to the readers. (I freaking love well-written redemption arcs. X’3) But then the 2nd MLs came and just nope myself out of there. XD (I hate Love Triangles and 2nd M/F Lead Syndrome to hell and back, especially if those 2nd Leads are way more decent than the alleged ML/FL. those cinnamon rolls don’t deserve to be hurt because of the MC’s stupidity. V__V)

Omg. Same. I totally agree with you. I dropped Abandoned Empress with the same reason! With or without the second male lead - Honestly I don't think I could ever forgive the male lead. The female lead deserves fuckin better and she should just end up with no one or with the second male lead...I mean...The previous translator even dropped the series when she found out bout the ending LMAO. It's a shame, really. The series had so much potential but why... （/TДT)/

To be honest, even without reading the spoiler, I just knew she’d still end up with that stupid blue-haired motherfather. (I’m not most fans who hopelessly hope that she’d end up with a 2nd ML or something. That’s why they are called 2nd MLs. XD) And I low-key shipped them despite popular opinion of wanting to kill him because he was a right bastard, and didn’t deserve the FL. Hence, why I had so much expectation for his redemption in the 2nd timeline. How he’d come to know of the original TL one way or another, and feel so much remorse, guilt and pain even though, technically, he hasn’t done anything to her yet in this TL. But I just want him to suffer for it. You know, justice. XD But then he falls for her so deep, I dunno how, I dunno why, but he will still fall in love with her, and despite being guilty for his past TL actions, he’d do his best to become a man worthy for her. That’d he’d try his best to not scare her anymore, and find small thoughtful actions for her so he can help her overcome her PTSD with him, and that’s how he learned to keep appropriate distance, respect her decisions and even support her with whatever she wanted to do. And along the way, by his desperate desire to be a man worthy for her, he’d develop into a fine young emperor that even his father would inadvertently praise him for before he dies. XD Because out of all the stuff that I wanted him to be redeemed for, it’s his leadership skills. I effing HATE his way of ruling in the OG Timeline and I was honestly looking forward for his growth in not relying on Tia as a very diligent queen and actually do his empire good by himself. Actually, at this point, I don’t really care if he fell in love with Tia just to make him do stuff that he should’ve done without having to be lovesick, I just wanted him to be a great emperor that would’ve made his father proud. Then that would’ve spared Tia his effing destructive insecurities. But it was all wishful thinking. Apparently, he still stayed stupid until the end of the story, and I’m just pissed off at myself for expecting too much. It’s like Princess Hours again and THAT fooker was traumatizing af. XD
