it doesnt really make up for the fact that she was purposefully malicious to chloe before, and only tried to make up for it cuz she thought she'd be fired or punished. She probably would've continued to bully chloe if not for the fact that she gained authority

but chloe forgave her
and the reason why chloe is letting go of josephine is not because she's malicious or rude but because she was falsely accused of putting her in danger
