Well tbh, I read the novel before it got cancelled and it seems to me that the drawn story is going faster than the pace in the novel
Anyways, I understand the frustration as I also really just want her to divorce her husband real quick but it makes sense to make the divorce seem far off. We see all her suffering during her marriage and it just builds up so that when the divorce finally happens, it’ll feel like heaven lol. And it also shows the growth of the bond between Heinley and the Empress. Plus tbh it seems more realistic, since she’s an empress, I guess the author really wanted to express how great of a queen she is and how the country will lose her. From what I know of other stories, queens can’t divorce the emperor themselves, it has to be the emperor that says they want to. Until Sovieshu wants to divorce Navier, it won’t happen anytime soon.

Why call the story "remarried" princess if even after 117 chapters into the novel, there is no sign of ending the endless torture of the empress? It just goes on and on without any development or getting an inch closer to the mention of a divorce. The title should've rightfully been "The endlessly suffering Empress".
