He isnt a scum.. you only look at the bad side at him . He didnt think much of it at first because he taught chase and his son are best friends (clearly not) and subconsciously relied on chase to let him know how his son is doing in school because chase accepted the request from him .. he is only repaying him because he knows (believes) he is good kid. He didnt taught of anything romantic with him until now because he realised but still does not want to cross the line but only thinks of himself that he is still got game.

Umm no, his behavior is disgusting, I hate how he goes hee hee ha ha on someone else while totally neglecting his son and arguing with him all the time, he should wonder why his son is being rebellious with him,when his son isn't evn bad..and not just treat it as a normal thing and totally neglect it, and he shouldn't have made his son more angry by proving him right everytime,his son always said out what displeases him clearly,so he should listen to him and try to improve,I hate bad parenting, altho I get that Joel only met his son at 10yrs, so It's gonna be awkward, but once u made that commitment to take care of him, it is ur responsibility to take care of their well being, Also Joel is just playing stupid here lol, no adult in their right mind would sleep with someone who's half naked other then their spouse/child. Chase is so fucking obvious in his seducing, Joel is just being pathetic by running away again and not confronting his own problem,cuz that's what he does everytime, he just runs away

Let me remind you that his son isnt a saint nor is chase nor is Jesse bf.. they are all old enough to know from right and wrong thanks to school and all. Joel is good father he may not be the best but so is every parent in the world. Joel gives jesse a curfew,cooks for him,naught him a motorcycle so he can get to school or where ever he needs to go on time or without spending any money, gives him money for school, keeps reminding him to go to school,calls him during work out to remind him to stay at home when its night, did not throw a fit when he found out his son is gay nor did he blame ady for turning his son gay, he takes his son to the beach and other places to spend quality time ... so again I dont see why your just looking at bad parenting jesse is old enough to understand and pit himself on his father shoes to see that he does what he can to keep him safe and sound
