eh, she'll get there (I think). I mean, she went from money loving, overworked and free spirited girl who was lacking in ambition to a competent healer that works on the battlefront. Yes, her ability is a cheat - but otherwise it would take forever for an orphan healer of a temple to actually be noticed by the two leaders of the best military orders of the kingdom.
I keep getting the little sister/kid vibe from MC as of now. Maybe as she goes on and actually uses her holy power to become a saint, we'll get more political drama and some badass character development for the heroine. That may take a long while though. What would be even better is if MC got a competent villain/villainess that helped with that development.
MC and Cabel do have some level of chemistry though, even if it has nothing on the Kant x Elvin pair ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ .
