What I'm enjoying a little about Senpai is that he's exactly the kind of character who is so often the ML in these shoujo high school manga, but the creator of this story has sidelined him. Instead, we see all of his behaviour from the outside.

Hehe, well, I mean I'm enjoying it only because for once the behaviour isn't idealised and romanticised like it is when it's the ML. I'm there going "Yes!! That's what those awful MLs do! And that!"

Lol yeah. Usually in shoujo, you're looking at it through the heroine's eyes, and more often than not, the ML is someone who can do no wrong. And when they do, it's resolved and forgotten very quickly. It's nice to not have that rose coloured filter. I still think the senpai was shitty and I'm not happy at all with how their story/segment was portrayed.
