I don't know what you mean by the cover being too "bright" for you but since you are apparently allergic to straight mangas you must only read BL because I doubt you read yuri. What I'm getting at is that you must love hot guys and so I reccomend this because Claude is FUCKING HOT.

This has no action or mystery. Perhaps you should check the genre and tags? If you've read any isekai (if you haven't then.. (⊙…⊙ ) totally not judging) then this is pretty much your typical isekai romance. And yes, this is a straight webtoon.

I like me some hot characters (male or female) but that wouldn't be enough of a reason for me to read a webtoon, I'm more plot oriented. For example, you know black butler? Everyone and their dog swoons over Sebastian, yet I dropped the anime halfway through because I couldn't find the plot interesting, sebastian be damned.

It contains romance but the main plot doesn't revolve around it. The main lead, Athy was reincarnated into a world where she is the daughter of an uncaring father (Claude). Throughout the entire webtoon we focus on the budding father-daughter relationship between them. It's very fluffy ヾ(☆▽☆)
BUT as we delve more into the plot we start to find out more about Claude's past and why he hated Athy so much, as well as Athy's mother. As you know, in the standard romance isekai she is not the [in-story] female lead, but her sister is. Of course, there turns out to be a dark turn after the lights are closed in the novel which Athy reincarnated into and her sister is not the ray of light and prosperity people think she is.

There's not much romance, the only relationship that matters as of now it's the one between father and daughter.
Naw naw! Our Athy isn't like that. She is clever and intelligent,and she knows how to survive in trash situations. You will love her! I know where you're coming from by reading your questions and stuff,so I can assure you,this is a good manga! The plot is interesting,since it's not that common,and the art is just utterly beautiful. Seriously I also have the same problem! I TOTALLY understand you!! Weak and stupid females! That's the reason I started reading Yaoi because come on, their plot is way better! And after reading Yaoi I started to read "Strong female lead" tagged mangas/manhwas and they are way better than those cliche stories where only ML can save the FL and she's and idiotic mess all by herself!(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
