It's a trope I really wish would die off in manga. It seems like it happens so often in the supernatural tag.

I looked at the raws and used google translate and it seems like Mano is Eve’s latest reincarnation...only reason I was not too bummed was due to Mano’s personality. He acknowledged he’s her reincarnation but he is not her and doesn’t want to be thought of as Eve.
