It starts with the shittiest shit, then it can only go better. The author started this 9 or 10 yrs ago, in a country where homophobia was /is still really rampant, but the goal was to make people more open accepting the LGBT community. I won't spoil the details for you though.

Well, I really hated him at the start, too. But once I sniffed that Hom was a bit fishy, it got me hooked right away. Also, Jungyun's simple-mindedness was a sort endearing, my heart melted immediately, seeing he was such a softie. I'm a sucker for softies. Haha

Ahh well, I don't remember where exactly, but I wouldn't encourage you to read if comedy is all you're after, because you might be disappointed. It's a slice of life manga, so there are some parts that are sad, and some that make you anxious. I do have two recommended manga you could enjoy if you like a lot of comedy.

I don't mind slice of life. I just figured the homophobia served as comedic affect and I don't find it funny.
I see, then. Don't worry about it being used as a comedic part, because, it's just part of the development.
