Blaze is a dirtbag badboy with a 'heart of gold' characterization, the sort that girls tell themselves constantly that if they love them hard enough they can change them to be softer around the edges. I dislike Blaze like characters. They get rewarded for being toxic and their entire character development is doing the bare minimum of treating their partner(s) with human decency. Its the lowest bar, but yet he is adored for it by audiences and his creators.
100% agree. Even if Blaze goes through a major character development I’d still be hung up on how toxic he was now..
