My thoughts exactly!
That's why I hate the whole my past self has it's own identity crap. It overcomplicates reincarnation for no reason. Yonosuke and ryo are the same person raised in different times. Ryo experiencing random fits of horny is his self but this go around version of him can control himself better cuz the era and environment hes in and with each new life new things are added cuz it's all one soul. They couldve made the Yonosuke he sees just a manifestation of his old life wanting to make him lose control of his new way of life cuz he reincarnated to quickly before it was time so hes not whole until he joins with him. So itll be like the old life wants to take control like the new one didnt exist but Ryo has to accept that it's his old life and he is also his new life so he can be one with himself. Thus giving him his old memories or making the old memories disappear so he starts fresh each time. Obvi this manga story isnt that deep.
The whole love triangle with a being that is yourself is so irritating. It's like taking new year new me to an extreme level.
I feel so sorry for Ryoichi, he maybe Yonosuke's reincarnation but that doesn't mean he is Yonosuke. I hate that in reincarnation story's they always act like the reincarnation isn't a person of his own once they regain past memories, and they are just that past self. People change you know. And Yonosuke forcing Ryoichi to be a slut like he was is the worst, can't you tell this isn't your live but Ryoichi's? You had your turn get out of here and let Ryoichi be his own person and make his own choices (for example dating the hot sex demon).
I know the story has several other issues but that is my main one.
