Nux has shapeshifter ability, he can change his appearance to look like other people as he desires. Example, in the end of s1 there was nux with jooyoung appearance.

From my understanding, MC told BF that he wants to stay with Director and not become a pure vampire, since he now has a way of getting essence and not dying. So seems like BF got upset and left his ass for the time being.
