They should but u know how it is genre n trying to keep it as simple with the story line but i would love to see it not on just 1 guy with multiple partner n acting on the partners preferences more in couples we could only hope .. YAOI IS LIFE
Right,it implies uke is feminine and seme is masculine. They almost fit the stereotype female and male roles. Its too bad ,because for me at least, part of the appeal of yaoi is that by being two males it opens my acceptance of strange relationships without triggering my feminist defensiveness.
I believe it's bc these are stories created by asian women, asian countries had almost none representation of lgbt people and if the do it's a walking cliche so that's why they create the uke as if it was a women but with a dick and no boob and the seme as the masculine guy(t's like they create a hetero couple story but change the desing of the woman for a petite guy lol) and they never switch bc technically a woman cant fuck a man (but in the western we know they can lmao). Almost 90% of bl storie are like that its the same two protagonist, uke-seme dinamic, but with a different art work. I just read stories that are under the "seke, switch" tag bc the stories are also more interesting thant the normal one and it feels more realistic and also bc I HATE WITH MY ENTIRE SOUL THE RAPE STORYLINE AND THAT'S WHY OMEGAVERSE SHOULD NOT EXIST ALL OF THEM ARE RAPE STORIES BC HoRmOnEs (╬￣皿￣)凸and they're like always the same exact story (random rant lmao)
