Went for "Versatile Mage" - it's been months now and I'm on my 5th one, lol.
That is one of my favorite romance series. Valiant is my favorite.

Valiant is one of my favorites too! He's so pure. . . you know, in that overbearing caveman kind of way. (￣▽￣)
Although that one was good I felt like the first one was better because after that the setting didn’t really change. In where Fury switched from different places like the houses and the motels. Not to really on the setting but the story had adventure and every new place felt natural. Valiant stuck within the hotel room and kidnapping areas like the woods or the facility where they kept trapped beasts. That doesn’t mean valiant wasn’t good because it was it was great.
This story reminds me of a erotic romance book series called, 'New Species' by Laurann Dohner. It has a VERY similar premise. Seriously, I would try to point out all the similarities but then I would just be rehashing the ENTIRE story plot of what you just read.
The main difference is that the "beast people" are more humanesque in appearances with enhanced abilities and only suggested animal-like features (so no furriness... at least for most of the New Species).
But seriously check it out if you enjoy possessive beastial alpha types falling in lust ლ(´ڡ`ლ) *ahem* I mean love ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
