Possibly cause on some level she hasn't suffered to that degree. She has been cared for and filled up on the story that she is a secret princess who will soon be able to take her place with the magical family she has had dangled in front of her. I dunno. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Judging from your point, then the White Duke's objectives are more or less to bring love to Jeanette in a sweeter way. Since he is flustered by how quick it is for her to be called by the Emperor. He is somehow relieved but is anxious too because he knows very well that this won't be possible for the Emperor to just like another daughter while he surprisingly did for his actual only heir when he was so abruptly neglecting her. .
I agree. Maybe she’s acting like that because she’s been told her whole life that they’ll accept her because of her eyes and blood. She probably didn’t think of an alternative where she wouldn’t be welcome. And that’s what bothers me. They’re making her to be a clueless stupid girl and it annoys me ksksksks
Does she have no self-awareness? Can she not stop and think instead of denying the possibility that the perfect scenario they’ve built up for her, and she believed in, would not be the only result of her coming out as a royal? Ugh
That's why I wish she could start thinking on her own instead of relying on what they told her. As of now she's just a pretty doll that's starting to get a conscience.

I don't want her totally gone, it'd be cute if Athy could expand her family since she apparently never had one in her past life too, but God if she's making it difficult. How can she expect her not to be confused?
You blurt out of nowhere that you're her sister and you also expect her to be happy without being at least surprised? Did you ever considered how YOU would feel if suddenly a sister YOU DON'T KNOW OF (because it's an important detail) were to appear and you had to share your father's love and time with her? It doesn't matter how much she likes you, it's still HER only family and you're asking too much in too little time.
And I'd have other things to say but my knowledge of english is too poor to keep on going.
I do pity her for not being able to have a proper family and I can understand why she's so eager to tell she's "family" and recieve their love, but does she think to have only rights and no duties?! I wish she'd stop for a moment and THINK with HER brain about THINGS dammit.
