The water marks are too big that i'd stop reading at page 7 *_*

I've started wondering, is that really the scanlation group that's doing it or is that a publisher's mark to discourage people using a digital copy made available on the web? There is the word DEMO in the stamp, which is short for "demonstration" in the US.
I just got to wondering this because I can't imagine someone who appreciates manga enough to scanlate them, defacing the art and distracting the readers away from it with so disruptive a graphic (it can't even properly be called a watermark because those were originally designed to advertise a paper's manufacturer with a recognizable presence WITHOUT interfering with the paper's intended use). This really seems more like a deterrent. To be sure, it detures me from reading manga from this source. If it is really the scanlators, I'd wish sites like this would make it a policy to refuse to keep scanlations that disrespect the manga and the reader like this.
