Makes me think it is a bit like the fact most humans eat animals to live, but still don't respect them and think of them as equal.
very good point.. at first, i didnt agree bc i that both khaol and river are humans/humanoid so its unfair to compare them to humans and animals but khaol is a god. clearly he thinks hes more superior :P
no hate for khaol, i just think that heil would obviously love river a lot more.. khaol just proves to be selfish and doesnt even think of his own power-source as an equal! like mate.. if i had someone giving me energy to live, i’d be a bit more thankful than that!
