Well, it's more realistic if a king marries multiple women specially if they have a huge kingdom. Though I hate imagining a woman sharing her husband with other women, it's really the way they are in the old times. ┗( T﹏T )┛
I would like it if it was polyamory and there's no stupid drama that makes the women look bad just so that Pauliana can have sexy time with the King

So. I just read the spoilers, and I love so much this story because it’s so real and well portrayed. Yes, Lucius will have to marry 3 women, but he still loves Pauliana, and don’t go saying “oh well i’ll Drop this story, 3 wives are too much, poor Pauliana” because that’s REALITY. An emperor must gain power through marriage, and so does Lucius. The beauty of the character is in still loving only Pauliana, and it seems that in the end they also get together so. What are you complying for? She is a strong woman that accepts the fact that her lover is a an emperor who must carry on duties.
