A lot of no maybe majority of korean parents or parents in general don't know what to do when they find out their kid is gay, Joel is a bit immature as a dad, but don't forget he is doing the best he knows how to to raise Jesse.

I understand where you’re coming from—but let’s also not forget what he said that he didn’t raise Jesse right that’s why he turned out to be gay—while he also acknowledged that he has feelings for Chase, which is obviously being gay too. I know he is trying his best, but he needs to try harder, the effort isn’t there 100% since he cares for Chase more than his own child, he is even proud to say that he visited Chase first than hus own son. I cannot understand how he thinks. Let’s just hope that his character develops but I will wait for Jesse and Andy’s parts again and that’s when I’ll come back to this manhwa.
