Agreed. The story itself is pretty interesting, especially the characters. But the way it's shown and the character interactions is kinda ruining it. The way they are giving the backstory doesn't let the reader imagine any other possibilities and makes it too predictable. Moreover, how the characters are portrayed makes them seem too 2D. (even though the story and actions of the characters are supposed to seem like 3D) I don't know how to explain it, I think it's like the difference between watching a stage play and a movie.
The story seems good but the chapters are a little badly written in my opinion. Too much backstory "at once", they've already shown her past and why she's like that, I think it's too early and a little anticlimatic.
But I like her character and I have a guess both she and the knight are going to have so many quarrels, so it's definetly going to be interesting.
