Maurice was originally in love with another guy and they hit it off pretty nice, until the other guy decided it's time to marry a girl and leave Maurice and his gay days. That broke Maurice, then there's some dream like things happening while Maurice is recovering from grief that he doesn't remember, turns out he wasn't dreaming and he was actually having sexy times with his gardener Simon every night while he was having his 'dreams' ... They confessed and lived happily ever after.
That's the gist I can tell you.

to the young ones here, I think this manga is inspired from the gay movie 'Maurice' since the characters are suspiciously having the same name as the lead actors in that movie (Maurice and Simon). Check it out if you want, it's also based on the victorian-esque era where people wear those kinds of clothes.
