Seolhyun is the female and was marked by Hwa. After the incident(flashbacks) they sealed Hwa's memories and I guess twisted some truth about Seolhyun since he was supposed to be the "mate" of the younger brother and that's the reason why they adopted him to keep their blood PURE.

About Ino and Granddad: I guess it started when granddad helped Hwagok and Bin by teleporting them away while Granddad said "Let the adults play" so basically he made Ino his bitch.

But didn't they say, that with lycans, only a female can mark her Partner? Like Yibin got marked by Hwagok and not the other way around. So by that logic, when Seolhyun got marked by Hwa, Hwa would be the female. Or did I get anything messed up or missed anything?

Yaa about that I dont quite get it too since there are still a lot to be revealed but my guess is that is has something to do with Hwa being hybrid. Now that you mentioned it, "marking" here for females might be similar to imprinting since Hwagok at that time didn't know that he met his mate (Lee Bin) and yet Bin physically marked Gok and seing the bite mark made Ino seething saying that Gok let a vampire claim him so maybe something similar to that is happening here?

I think lycans can mark their partners, not "just" female lycans. Yibin is a vampire, so he can't mark Hwagok

1. Hwa is Male hybrid lycan.

2. The one marked is Hwa.

3. The pureblood female lycan is our choco baby.

4. Seolhyun marked Hwa when they were younger.

5. Ino made them forget their memory after they got hurt as kids on the boss's order.

6. Seolhyun thinks he is a male because his memories were modified.
