Why Ofc he is saying now he is in deilma who to choose , put yourself into his situation ofc He love chase but their is also social stigma for an older guy or woman to go with lot younger guy or girl. But we r in bl world where love is love. So y it is problem for him to choose chase as his partner both of them Love each other why r we making big deal out of it we have seen and read more worst older guy x younger bl mangas. I think story is perfectly fine going on slow process showing that yes it is still difficult for them to be together becoz one is single dad and his son's frend which we don't normally see in bl mangas.
I don't have a problem with him being older (I too, have read many mangas where one is older) , when I say "that's gonna get dragged for a long time" I mean that the way Joel is dealing with his feelings is hurting Jesse too (which has been going on for a long time already) so I just wish he would be more aware, and maybe talk it out with Jesse after years of being togheter
Ok let's be honest af first I thought Chase was a bit how to say that... creepy? I didn't hate him but not even like him. Now in that ch. I think he did well by saying what he wanted, but Joel? He's right when he says he has to see it with a parent perspective but I'm sure that's gonna get dragged for a long time. At this point I don't really care if they get togheter, I'm just really sorry for Jesse, he just wants to be loved ┗( T﹏T )┛
