Maybe, but it was BOTH of them that kept up that sexual relationship for YEARS... None can expect a "deal" they made years ago to still keep justifying their behavior so many years later... A no-strings attached sexual relationship is not something you can keep having long-term with someone that close to you, because you already have some "strings" there, the strings of friendship! So mixing things up like this is a total contradiction, and thus it's not just the uke's fault that he misunderstood.
