Aren’t they in their last year of high school? which make them 18 years old so technically they’re adults. I just don’t like people jumping into conclusions. Cuz it’s their relationship they can do whatever they want (even tho it’s fiction and the author controls the plot line)
i don't know really know their age difference... how old are you tho... there's no judgements here... yes you can do whatever you want in your life... as long as you are sure of your goals and no one is going to jail or dying... sure i support age gap.. but the timing of some events are not really perfect sometimes... so we need to wait... stop saying read anything else coz originally this is not joel and chase's story...

see, the thing is, i’ve read stuff with worse age gaps. the age gap is debatable but that’s not what bothers me. what bothers me is the way chase was acting, like that really grossed me out, and also the fact that joel can’t even take care of his OWN SON. he treats his own son like garbage, why tf would i want another couple when both characters need a lot of work and development first. but it’s kinda unfair to tell people to leave and find a bl that suits their own taste cause literally everyone is here for jesse and andy, or at least started for them so... also this is a couple where one of them is being paired with their SON’S FRIEND, that already sounds weird and of course not everyone’s gonna like it, everyone has their own taste and this couple just doesn’t suit them, they’re allowed to not like it or like it and i’m sure they would go somewhere else if they didn’t like them, if they were the main couple, but they’re a s i d e couple.

You readers need to stop being so judge mental about Joel and Chase. They both like each other so what’s wrong with that? There’s literally people around the world who falls in love with people who’s older than them. Also If you don’t want shit to go down with Joel and Chase, who’s forcing you to read? Leave pls and read a different bl that would probably suit your taste.
