It's a rape plot. Yaoi is full of non normative sex/relationships and they are all meant to be read by adults. That implies that people don't need to put disclaimer every time they put a comment shipping the couple nor they need to act as parental guides to other readers. Yaoi non normative relationships are like doors you choose to enter: Incest, Bestiality, Shotacon, Abuse of all shapes and form, including rape, Omegaverse/Mpreg.
That means also that if you choose to enter one of these doors, you know what you are getting into, not only about the plot but the audience for the niche. That means too that if you are reading something that triggers you or the fun of audience triggers you, it's your problem not theirs. Telling others how to read their fiction or how they should feel about it because that is your way to read fiction is not an opinion, it's crossing the line of respect.
This story is over 38 chapters now. The rape plot is clear.
I don't know what to tell you. Maybe stop by a complete rape plot story like Hidoku Shinaide and ask the readers why they think Maya and Nemu are so cute. Ask them if they forgot that Maya RAPED Nemu. Does that make sense to you? I think not... because even if you dislike the genre you probably can understand how that works.
The same way you don't hang around an omegaverse story and keeps nagging to the readers saying 'oh my god, he is so cute pregnant' asking them if they remember that men can't get pregnant, you just don't need to hang around a rape plot story reminding the shippers that the couple belongs to RAPE PLOT Story.
Honestly, this story is over 38 chapters. If you got in the wrong door of Yaoi very toxic, non realistic, disgusting non normative trope you don't like ... it's the rest of the readers that are asking now... did you forget this is a RAPE PLOT story?
its sad but during those times men were all powerful, they could rape whomever they wanted. i dont mind it too much in this manga. before if you e married, it could never be classified as rape, even if you were beat up. in the, past things were very violent and cruel. slaves were raped and impregnated, powerful rich men could do whatever they wanted and it wasnt considered a crime.
Even if people have forgotten, just let them enjoy for a bit these short, tender episodes of Seungho cuddling Nakyum, Omg... Is this too hard on you to ask to not spoil the mood all the time? This comment section has been 80% of the time toxic and the small left peaceful.
For once let us have some rest.
Even NK goes along the story.
Honestly, nobody forgot, but a story is meant to progress and change and the characters evolute along, just like everything and everyone else.
This is not a personal affair where you need to be stuck up with, this is a BL, meant to entertain the audience.
Move on.
Thank u for being the one who said it! People were all about SH, but all I care is my baby NK. Nonetheless, i agree with Jess. Human rights was an unimaginable and nonexistent notion for folks of low class in the feudal era. My heart aches so much for NK, that he was stuck in a position where he couldn’t escape nor express his negative feelings towards SH nor call for justice like victims of rape nowadays, or else he’ll face dire consequences. Well i guess the fact that mental trauma was luxurious and hence I guess NK tried his best to avoid it is a good thing. Because that means he tries to recover and he wouldn’t have to wallow in misery. Poor my baby. I just hope he could be given a chance to properly recover and be happy soon. No matter who he ends up with, as long as he’s happy.
I see your point but I also see where they are coming from like I’ve gone into stories not yet knowing that it had like a rape plot or anything else and I was shocked when I saw it and was like “why tf is this so popular and everybody loves it?!” bc I assumed they didn’t know that it had those themes until they read it like I did, but I see what you mean by saying like don’t go into a story knowing it’s about rape and be shocked that it’s about rape. Like these stories aren’t about real people in real situations with real relationships, so they shouldn’t be treated as such. It’s all fiction for entertainment purposes. It took a minute for me to grasp that tbh

While y'all are going on about "UwU Seungho ish such a swoft boi!! So sensitive I shippp" in the comments try to remember that he RAPED Nakyum. Like, on multiple occasions. Like ????? Have y'all already forgotten?
