And that the uke also always said that he couldn't keep up because of age... I think that's not the reason, the real reason would be him having an office job and never foing to the gym.

Well that could be the case. But in all the manga that I read they didn't have a problem with such an age gap. (But for me the problem was more how an 29 year old was written like a 60 year old. But only in the relationship. Or more precisely while they had sex)
But like you said, it's different everywhere.

I just don't even get why they made this an "age gap" yaoi. I mean, I guess it's to emphasize the seme being immature (acting "young") and the uke being cynical (acting "old") but why not just make the seme younger or the uke older?
