I get your point but like. A characters sexuality has nothing to do with this.... Not every gay/whatever other “‘minority” u put in there is good. A bad guy charachter can be trans, black, homosexual and etc.
And the 2 dudes are very different. Ones actually in love with the other while the other is a completely scheming fuck who played both MC and her original fiance.
What i mean to say is that, if thats criticisms its weak. As I’d argue this is actual “good?” representation? It doesnt seem like it was used in a bad tone and it most likely would have been completely the same if the cousin was female. So basically homosexuality wasnt treated as bad but neither as an inheritally good or pure thing. They were treated like regural charachters.
Its a rare sight in media as giving flaws to charachters of discriminated groups always envokes outrage, making most “representation” the same and thus representing very little, and especially not what the LGBT community fights for lol

It's okay it wasn't that long it was quite short for the point you were getting across. I only said my little "rant" for comedic purposes. I love how there are two characters that are of the same sex and that are in a relationship; most importantly it ISN'T the main focus of the story!!!!!!! The main focus for the story is the MC over coming her tragic past, through rebirth and falling in love. And there just so happen to be gay antagonists. I just thought being funny was the way to go in the terms of commenting.
Also another thing I dont think it's right just because something is of some way no matter what is, ( minority or not, gender, race, sexuality, religion etc.) they can't do something because of there past. Because it would seem racist, sexist or what not. No matter who had done something wrong they still did it and those terms should have nothing to do with how they should pay for those crimes.
