Considering Minato’s traumatic past. It’s a rooted instinct in him to distrust people. At least he’s trying and Shizuma is patient. They should maintain a good communication channel. That’s the most helpful act for the relationship to work.
Loving a person like Minato really needs patience and effort (not like giving flowers, chocolates, etc.) But make him feel that he is love,you're always there for him and also assurance. I really salute Shizuma, and i know that they can do it.
