Why are people so enraged thinking of a possible pregnancy?

Some people enjoy omegaverse but hate how having mpreg pretty much ruins it, it takes a yaoi and ruin it with all this baby this, baby that. Some people hate babies in general (including me) I don't want to read about pregnancies and having a child. It's just not my thing.
Often when mpreg starts in an omegaverse it's a sign the manga will end soon, or will become boring, it's reaching its end.
I love the relationship they have and how it's growing. They only just admitted their love, to suddenly put a baby into that... just seems rushed

At BlackDog, that’s life though! Not every author is going to write a story for you. That’s why you need to look at tags better - if it’s an omega verse then it’s best you stay away cause the entire existence of omega verses is how men can have kids with other men. In this context babies are bound to come up! The problem isn’t the story but you who’s reading stories that create a foundation on topics you don’t like. There are thousands of Yaoi stories out there with zero possibility of men getting pregnant and babies being introduced so why did you choose to read this one? What’s the point? Why do that to yourself when you know you don’t like babies? It’s not the author’s, story or our fault, it’s yours for picking up a story that you know won’t stomach well with you and complaining about it. Stay away from omega verses cause they’re clearly by for you.

I said i enjoy omegaverse stories, and there are some great ones out there that dont end in pregnancies. So ya, finding out a manga that you've been enjoying may suddenly turn into a baby fest is rather annoying. No i'm not going to go on ranting about it, i was simply tell the OP why some people are getting enraged.

i dont know. personally i only look up omega versa because i know theres the possibility of male pregnancy. if i hated babys, i would stay away from the omega verse. thats just me though. i wouldnt look up shota and then be offended something awful and illegal is going on. lol

BlackDog, it’s not sudden! Omega verses are about having kids! That’s why omegaverses are set apart from the rest of the Yaoi universes. The omega verse is 100% built on the fact that men get pregnant so how is it sudden when they do become pregnant, that’s the entire point for the omegaverse universe. If authors didn’t want pregnancies in their stories they would have written an ordinary Yaoi. It’s not by mistake that this author set their story in the omega verse. It’s not an aesthetic purpose, it’s for plot purposes!! The fact that ANY author will set their story in an omega verse is a red flag that babies will be involved so I don’t know why you would give them grief for that when that’s what they wanted from the start? By your logic it’s like ordering carrot soup then complaining that the chef made it liquid as you rumble about how you like carrot cake so why is the carrot soup not solid too. They might both have carrots but they’re two different food menus/recipes. Same with the omegaverse - they both have Yaoi themes but are two different worlds - the omegaverse being exclusively for pregnancies. Don’t blame the chef if you don’t like soup and don’t blame omega verse stories and authors for having pregnancies.

Now, if you actually read me original reply you can see that i was stating why people are getting upset over it. Not that i'm ranting about omegaverse.
My main issue with it is;

But in general you are missing it. not ALL omegaverses are about babies, their are quite a few out there that are really damn good that doesn't even touch mpreg. Omegaverse is about the concept, Alphas, betas, omegas, heat cycles, general things like that are more what omegaverse is about in my opinion then BABY THIS, BABY THAT, OMG BABIES.

Do you even know about the origin of omegaverse? The first yaoi that came up with the concept? Yes the idea of babies where there, but did they shove babies in the readers face? NO. They left that out of it. They covered everything else and left that up to the readers imagination after the manga had finished because thats not everyones cup of tea

again, mpreg is a HUGE part of the omega verse. its not a surprise that find pregnancy in these stories. if you want to waste time writing paragraphs to excuse why you are so angry, thats your business. but you had an idea this could happen. Not ALL omega verse is about mpreg, but theres a risk you can find it there, if you do, dont complain... i dont get peoples desire to rage and complain about things that are expected....

you wrote a long post and are calling underage girls angry? im a 34 year old woman and use common sense to avoid stories im not interested in. again i wouldnt go to a shota story, then write 5 paragraphs about why theres nonconsensual sex.... you get more common sense as you get older...

At BlackDog, firstly I’m 29years old! Secondly, you said it yourself - the omega verse is about “Alphas, betas, omegas and heat cycles“ and this is based on the nature of real life wolves who have Alpha males Omega males and Beta males - for the omega verse, the authors went an extra mile to “fictionally” and “intentionally” give omegas heat cycles and the ability to give birth. The heat cycles are parallel to real life female wolf heat cycles. Animals don’t go into heat for Browny Points but for the sole purpose of attracting a mate and having babies. I don’t understand why you would be confused and mad at the authors when they make omegas have babies because the entire point of omegas going into heat is so they attract an alpha male, mate and have babies. They purposely created a world where they biological constitution of an omega is to have babies. They even address this in the omega verse stories where omegas are segregated because they are only seen as tools to have babies for Alphas. Why do you want authors to ignore such a pivotal point of the omega verse and the whole reason why there’s an unequal social standing between Alphas and Omegas. If we remove the ability for omegas to have kids then we’re just left with a bunch of dudes who get extremely horny for a week compared to most days. In addition, alphas would not be able to mark Omegas cause the whole point of biting them is to identify the mate they’ve chose to reproduce with. Removing babies in the omega verse changes the entire omegaverse all together, it will render ruts, heatcycles, mates, pheromones, pairings and biting pointless. You can’t have an omega verse without having omegas have the ability to have babies. You can’t separate the two so babies are not avoidable in the onegaverse. Just read normal human Yaoi cause babies in the omega verse are there to stay!

if you want to project it's about pregnancy then go off sis but most omegaverses don't honestly have mommy going to the gyno as the first chapter cause no one cares about that part.

Kyu14, then please explain why they release the pheromones then? Like I said the omega verse is based on real life structures of wolves mashed with our romance norms. When female wolves go into heat they attract alphas through smell to signal that they are ready to mate and reproduce. You’ve done biology right? You must have studied animal sexual behaviour. Another good example are dogs, being a close family of wolves their females also have heat cycles. If a female dog goes into heat around your area you’ll find male dogs in your neighborhood will be able to smell and sense there’s a bitch in heat. That’s how’s you’ll find all the males sniffing out and congregating around a bitch in heat. The whole point of releasing pheromones is to attract males to mate and reproduce. It’s involuntary both in real life and in the omega verse. It’s purely instinctual with the sole purpose of breeding. Thats why you find in omega verse both the Omegas and Alphas loose all reason when in heat, they’re consumed with the sole purpose of having sex and making sure the alpha impregnates the omega. If you take out reproducing then the pheromones are not necessary. Alphas aren’t necessary. Omegas going in heat also won’t be necessary. The entire omegaverse will become void. The characters will now resemble humans cause we are capable of controlling our mating practices. We evolved to not need heat cycles or pheromones. Again ask you, why do you think pheromones are included in the same omegaverse?

Are you defending pregnancy as the main point of omegaverse?

Even so, my point completely stands, omegaverse mangas are not about pregnancies, they never are and never will. They are the exception and not the rule.
At most you get a baby at the end and the story is over, why? Cause no one cares what comes after a baby, sorry, truth hurts.

Kyu14 the biology of it is what makes the omegaverse. You can’t ignore that. The biological constitution of the Alphas, Omegas and Betas are what sets their world apart from any other Yaoi. Pregnancies are the center of it because to the omegas their own biological constitution acts against their freewill when they are in heat. Without medication or supervision Omegas in heat will mate with any available Alpha even if they mentally don’t want to - their own bodies will act againt their freewill inorder to get pregnant. Alphas took advantage of this fact in order to raise their own social status by creating a world where omegas are seen as breeders and useless if not only for that. The same Alphas went a step further to segregate Betas because of their inability to dominate omegas. Take away the omega’s ability to give birth and this entire hierarchy falls apart. Without the omegas ability to give birth the Alphas wouldn’t be able to stand over the omegas or segregate the Betas. In addition, omegas won’t need to go into heat, they won’t need to release pheromones, they won’t need to take medication and the alphas won’t be able to mark them or use their pheromones on them either. However, taking away these points will mark the omegaverse void as we know it. Every omegas story, even the fluffy ones, rely on the politics of the Alphas vs the Omegas and their superiority complex cover the Betas. The key to this being Omegas and the biology of how they can reproduce. Take that away and the entire politics of it falls apart. You can’t expect authors to explore the omgevese whilst ignoring the themes and biology of Omegas, Betas and Alphas.

I can expect it and I'm winning since most mangas don't. Since you know, omegaverse is porn and not a biology/sociology book.

But I suppose you can’t dictate how each reader should appreciate a story, that’s is personally journey and to each their own. However I wish you could take time to better understand the omegaverse and it’s 3 species. I rank it as one of the top 10 universes ever imagined and expanded on by authors on paper! It’s really good once you start seeing it for more than, as you said, “porn”. It’s also kind of good to have an understanding of the themes of what you reading so you don’t end up touching on topics you don’t like or are not comfortable with.
