Honestly, I can’t try to defend Glen for all of the shit he does because a lot of this is true. I admit I gave him more credit that he deserves, but the y’all have to understand that Chang is much worse, I think we can at least agree on that. I’m just tired of people trying to make Chang seem like a better choice just cause it’s more interesting?

I've read some pretty messed up stories so Glen isn't THAT toxic, per se, in my eyes but those are straight facts.
I keep seeing people trying to justify a relationship between Chang & Ed(they prolly haven’t read the spoilers lmao) and saying that Glen and Ed’s relationship is basic or has no substance? I read the spoilers a long time ago(like last year) because a commenter had read the novels before. I already knew that all of that shit was coming, so it annoys me so much to see people say “omgggg id be so hot if Chang and Ed did it” or “I want Chang to take Ed so bad! It gives me butterflies!” Even if what happened didn’t, Chang and Ed would still be in a horribly abusive relationship. Chang shows no care or affection for him, some might say he’s hiding it, but Chang is just not a good person in general if he’s forcing someone he “loves” to live a shitty life. Glenn, on the other hand, is a good person and a good boyfriend. He cares about Ed, he cherishes him. He’s honest, kind, and wants Ed to have a good life. It’s because they’re relationship is an example of a healthy one that y’all think it’s boring. It’s extremely uncommon for yaoi to have a truly non toxic couple, but that’s what some of y’all want isn’t it? Because that what y’all are used to?
