It's nothing big. She talks about this matter with Jerome (the butler), which our MC didn't permit her - but also didn't forbid. She was just concerned about her mistress.

Her motive doesn't matter in that circumstance.

She was kicked out because she set her priorities wrong and put the butler above the wishes of her mistress. Indirectly questioning her authority as the miss of the house, which is in itself is almost like betrayal. A maid who can't follow the orders of her master is not helpful but dangerous. There is no better punishment for disobedience than getting fired, which is fairly mild.

That is how I understood it from the novel. The webtoon showed it more dramatic. In the novel she was tense and sharp with her voice, cold but still calm. Or maybe I got that feeling from the novel. I don't dislike how the webtoon did it but in my opinion it made her seem more...sensible? In the novel I saw her as professional and calm, always having her emotions in check, unless something bothered her she never showed her displeasure or approval toward her maids/workers. The embodiment of maturity and grace, maybe even a bit cold. Seeing her like that is a bit weird for me.

Wow, that is long.( ̄∇ ̄")

You're right, I felt the same when I read the novel . Here she looks more emotional, less calm. In the novel she doesn't scream, she is just cold and sharp. The state showed now would fit better when hugh ask her to see a doctor
