I don't think Kudo actually understands that he likes/loves Satowa. I think he's still in the phase of "I don't understand why I want to touch her so much." He is probably cognizant of the fact that he respects her and admires her but I don't think he realizes his feelings are deeper than that. Therefore, I don't think there will be a confession next chapter. Kudo will probably stumble over his words, be like - "well what I meant was . . . " and come up with some b.s. then walk/run away blushing. The senpais, though amazingly oblivious of their own budding love affair, will probably understand what just happened and quietly cheer Kudo and Satowa on but not say anything so as not to embarrass them.
