To be honest to me it doesn't seem that he got to that point. He indeed harassed her sexually but he also seemed to have the pants still on (it would've looked different even if the zipper was open) plus he also said that she had trouble getting wet and nothing more was shown thus we can't be sure that she was raped to that stage. She also seemed to want to explain what "really" happened to her mother but couldn't speak...
