Seems like it’s going a bit toooo fast now

Plowing through tech so long as it works enough to what they need making the story accelerate quickly to get to their goal. Makes sense, like how humans made a shite laser in when experimenting with light but that couldn't output like a couple watts of fuck all now but then a couple decades later it burns through rust and people quite fast and it's quite useful in like in CAD. It just needs a bit of a 'revolution' and since Senku knows all of the science so far, he knows what he needs but just needs to get it. Doesn't have to think anything new it just depends on his luck and crew. Well and plan too.
